December 18th, E3G held their annual YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY!! It was a blast, as it was held at Roman's House this year!! We had tons of food... which is always a must... sweet time in Worship and God's Word... whichi is always a must as well!! Also, of course we had a gift exchange!!

On September 26th , 2009, E3G held the first PURELY PURSUING Purity Conf held at Calvary Chapel Living Water!! About 100 Youth From literally throughout California (ranging from the San Fernando Valley to Perris Valley) attended the event!! We had a great time being encouraged about simply PURSUING the LORD.. nothing more and nothing less... and as we do so.. we will live Pure lives set apart from the LORD!!

2009 San Diego Fellowship Day

July 18th, E3G & UA1 met up again, and headed out to San Diego, California... for a day filled with fun, learning, and FELLOWSHIP. They started the event, with UA1 sleeping over on a Friday night... then Saturday morning both Youth Groups made their way to SAN DIEGO. First stop was the CREATION MUSEUM... where they had a great guided tour, learning about God and His CREATION. Then they headed out to BALBOA PARK for lunch, games and a time in HIS WORD. And finally to end the day...they headed out to a SAN DIEGO PADRE GAME. The day was such a blessing... and a lot of walking!!! Check out more pics, in the 2009 Picture Folder!!

2009 End of School Beach Bash

E3G... along with UA1... held their annual Beach Bash Extravaganza... at Huntington State Beach. It was such a blessing to see Youth come together for fun, Sun... and the LORD!! Everyone had a blast, as we played football, ghetto volleyball, got wet, ate some great Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, and of course Worshipped the Lord and heard from His WORD!!! God is truly Great!!!

June 5th E3G headed out to Huntington Beach to check out the 2009 BEACHSIDE SUMMER FEST!! What an awsome time seeing old friends... making new ones.. .and hearing some great music such as SHACHAH, DOMINIC BALLI, M.O.D., & PHIL WHICKHAM!!! Not only was the music great.... but so was the word given out... through such guys as BRIAN BRODERSON, JOEY BURAN, and CHRISTIAN HOSOIA!!
Please pray for those whom the Lord gave new life too!!

God is doing a work... we pray we would be a part of it!!

E3G headed out last Sunday to lead VICTORY IN JESUS, in Worship and in their Youth Group!!! It was such a blessing to bless our Brothers and Sisters in LOS ANGELES!!
After they went and where blessed to have all you can eat SHAKEY's.. then to burn off all the FAT.. they walked around the AMERICANA (a new outdoor MALL in GLENDALE)
Always a blessing to minister to fellow believers!!

E3G headed out to Six Flags Magic Mountain AGAIN!!! We hooked up with CC Mid Valley for a day of fellowship, rocking out to KUTLESS, screaming our heads off on such rides as GOLIATH & RIDDLER... and of course we had a great time as throughout the day we where encouraged to have BOLDNESS ( Acts 4:31).
It was a double blessing, because after Magic we didn't drive back home.. the guys stayed at CC Mid Valleys Youth Pastors house as well as the girls stayed at Melissa's & Lesters house . Then the next day (SUNDAY) we fellowshipped and led CC Mid Valley Youth Group!!
Just a totally blessed time!!

On March 28th E3G held a Thank You/farewell party for Melissa Joyce. For a little more than a decade she has been attending Calvary Chapel Living Water, and serving in its Youth Ministry and Worship Minstry. As she has done so... she has totally blessed and impacted those who the Lord had her serve. So this past Saturday... E3G held a Suprise Party for her.
It was totally fun.. as we had tons of Games, Food... more Games... Cake.. and Music. Please pray for her and Lester as they will be getting married next week... and they start their new life with each other.

E3G every year heads out to Azusa Pacific University to hear the testimonys of Christian Athletes and Entertainers.... at Night of Champions. This years event was totally a blessing... as we where able to eat In-N-Out.. get a sweet t-shirt... hear testimonys from such atheles as Olympic Gold Medist in the 2008 Dicathalon.. Brian Clay!! Its always an event we look forward too.. and cant wait to see what God will do next year!!

E3G held the 2008 Youth Winter Retreat - "HIS OWN" Titus 2:11-15 - at Calvary Chapel Christian Camp located in the San Bernadino Mountains!!! Over 200 Youth from around Southern California Attended!! It was a weekend of Blessing, Trials, Stretching, and the moving of the Spirit!! All who attended where encouraged that we are God's Special People!!
Please pray for what God did in the Mountains with the Youth and what He wants to do in the Youth's lifes down the mountain!!!
And pray for next years Camp!!

For one week, Sosimo Avila, came back to Calie(from Oki, Japan) for the Funeral of his father. While down here... E3G was blessed by him as he shared God's WORD to them on their Sunday Morning Bible study!!! Our God is truly good... cause just a little over a year ago... Sosimo was liek some of those kids sitting and listening to and E3G message...and now He is in Oki, Japan teaching others the WORD of GOD!!!

E3G held there annual Back 2 Skool Bash!!! However, they had it, not at the beach like years past, but at Jurupa Valley Community Church's Pastors House!! It was a great time of fun, food and fellowship!! not only with E3G members... but also the Youth from Jurupa Valley!!
God is continually doing a great work with E3G and the fellowship with other churches!!

Aug 22nd, E3G watched LUTHER the movie, and was encouraged to Live by Faith, and to put God's Word above all other things!!
Before the movie Zach led us in worship and shared a short devotion which the Lord put on his heart!!!
After the movie, Evangelina blessed us with a cake, which she made to congradulate Tina Cano for Graduating High School.
Our God is so Faithfull!!

Harvest '08 : Tailgate/Crusade

August 16th, E3G headed out to Angel Stadium for the Harvest Crusade... but before the whole event... they chillaxed in the Parking lot cooking Dogs(not literal dogs) and played some NO NET VOLLEYBALL!!!
Then after a couple of hours of people watching them play this interesting game.. they headed inside the stadium... for a total time of rocking out to such bands as POD, LeELAND and totally being blessed seeing the HOLY SPIRIT move in a STANDING ROOM only stadium where tons of people, young and old came to know the Lord!!

August CC Pomona Gardens Youth Outreach/Fellowship

May 24, 08 E3G headed out to Los Angeles...to go check out "PRINCE CASPIAN" in Hollywood!! And before the movie...they had a blast running around acting dumb as they did a Scavanger Hunt!
After the movie they headed to Jon's Gramps house for a time of worship and and the word... right before the went to go see the Dodgers play the Cardinals!!
It was a fun, exciting... and blessed day ... except that the Dodgers lost!! But whatever the case.. God was defiently glorified through this time of FELLOWSHIP!!!

March 29th E3G headed to Azusa Pacific University for a time of fellowship and encouragement as they where encouraged to not look to the left or the right, but to keep straight on God's Path that He has for our lives!!!

The 7th of this month... E3G thought they were heading to an event at another church...but due to not reading the EMAIL correctly... the event that E3G was planning to attend... was actually the following week!!! So the E3G leaders got their heads togther and decided to head over to the HORNE's house, for a time of : fellowsip, worship, the word, and definetly food!!!

Though the youth at first where bummed out in that they could not attend the "event" everyone was blessed, to just hang out... hear the WORD... eat some LITTLE CEASERS PIZZA... and spend time with one another!!!

It was a night filled with tons of games... a sweet time of Worship and of course a blessed time in the Word. This years theme was "ITS A SMALL WORLD"... and E3G was encouraged that Christ came and was born to Forgive and Bring Togheter!!! After all the games, worship and word.. they had a great time of Opening White Elephant gifts!! It truly was a night to remeber and we thank the Lord for all He has done!!

Citrus Jr. High December Ministry

Dec 13th a couple of guys and one lad headed out to Citrus Jr. High to minister at the Christian Club. It was truly a blessing, not only to once again minister to the young men and women at the school, but also to have Zach and Hannah minister along side us.
Hannah help lead a E3G favorite game: ASAP. The kids at Citrus love this game.. and really get into it. And we where totally blessed as Zach shared God's word...and encouraged us to be Light... especially to our friends and family during the Christmas Season... cause Jesus came to this earth to be light.

2007 Youth Winter Retreat - Temporary Video

This past weekend (Dec 7th-9th) 11 Youth Groups throughout Southern California congregated all at Calvary Chapel Green Valley, for a weekend of Fun, Fellowship, and seeking the Lord.
It was such a blessing this Retreat... as the whole time we where up there it Snowed. And as God was faithfull with answereing our prayers about snow, He was more faithfull in answereing our prayers of meeting us at the retreat. Lives where changed, rededicated, and saved.

E3G was blessed this past Friday as Sosimo shared through God's word... LIVE... all the way from Okinawa Japan. We have been so blessed these past couple weeks as we have been using the Internet Program SKYPE to get intouch and be blessed with our Brothers and Sisters who are on the Mission Field.

This year we actually had a "PROGRESSIVE DINNER"... if you don't know what that means... basically E3G drove around and ... BUMMED off food from family's in the fellowship. E3G was so blessed and had such a great time... eating at different houses.. and playing exciting and fun games!!

Keep'n It Real - 2007 Young Men's Purity Dinner

E3G held their first YOUNG MEN'S PURITY DINNER!!!! Thats right.. a Guy's Purity Dinner!! We couldn't see the girls always having fun, being encouraged in being set apart for the Lord.. so the E3G guys set out to be encouraged, equiped and even evanglized too, concering Purity!! It was such a blessing, as Roman gave a message!! And Segmon, of course came out with his awsome games!!
The boys, and men who attended had a blast... and cant wait to have another... And of course it wouldn't be a guys thing without a XBOX 360!! Which the guys also had a blast playing!!

Nov 3rd, the E3G girls held a Purity Dinner!!! Better known as ROYALTY ONLY!!! The girls had a blast, as they played games.... ate really great food, cooked by the GUY LEADERS of E3G... was led into worship by CC Creeksides Girls, and heard some great teachings from all 4 E3G girl Leaders.

In October, E3G on Friday nights has been having LIVE converstions with some of our Missionary's in Okinawa Japan. It has been a blessing, because for the next 4 weeks E3G has been have devotions on Santification from different Missionarys!!!
This past Friday, Pastor Tom gave the devo.. and it was sweet!!!
These devotions are leading up to two PURITY DINNERS that E3G will be holding at the beging of Nov for the girls, and the middle of Nov. for the guys!!
Please pray , as God is using Technology for His Glory, and as We are praying, in January to have INTERNET DEVO's from our Missionarys in Viriginia!!

Pray... Cause So. Cal is on FIRE!!!

Hey guys... please pray for us in So. Cal... cause there are a whole bunch of fires going on here. We have had very strong winds (up to 105 mpinh) along with a drought, which makes very bad conditions. Literally hundreds of Homes and Businesses all throughout So. Cal have been lost.
Along with this, Twin Peaks and Green Valley (Calvary Chapel has two awsome Camp Sites in these towns) are in huge danger.
It is kind of wierd cause the sky is RED.. with all the smoke from the fires!!
So pray.... and ultimatly God wants to get our attention.

Citrus Jr. High Oct. Outreach

Oct 11, Pastor Pule, Segmon & Jon headed out to Citrus Jr. High for the monthly ministry at their Christian Club. It has been such a blessing to have been ministring at this school for a almost a year now. Truly our prayers have been answered.
When the Christian Club started this year... there was only about 10 max attending.. even this was a blessing... because the Christian Club is held after school... so all those who attend have choosen to miss the bus that takes them home and stay to fellowship, hear Gods Word, and be blessed. Well.. ever since "SEE YOU AT THE POLE" (a National Day of prayer at schools held at the end of September) The Christian club at Citrus has grow to about 25-35 people every week they meet!! Our God is mighty and wonderfull!!
Jon led in worship, while Segmon led in the games.. and Pule gave an awsome message on the BELT OF TRUTH!! Please continue to pray for those at the school.. that they would remain faithfull..and that they would have a genuine thirst for the Lord!!

Well.. we played this game at the school.. and it was a hit!! Magic Mountain Annual Trip

Sept 15th, E3G headed out to Magic Mountain for their annual trip. It was such a blast. E3G joined CC Mid Valley... which made up a group of about 48 people. They road on all the major rides, basically... and they ended the day with what some say to be the best ride there... "TATSU".
Throughout the day.. the youth where blessed with 3 devotion times and worship!!! They where in encouraged to "GET REAL" with there walks with the Lord.. taken from Luke 14!!!

August 26th, Calvary Chapel Living Water held their annual Beach Baptism. It was truly a blessing to see our brothers and sisters who have come to know the Lord, make the proclamation to the world what Christ has done in their lives.

It was really neat to see a few of our youth who have made professions of faith, make the next step.

It was also a great evening of food and fellowship, as everyone shared their food that they had.. and people gathered around the fire, making Hot Dogs and Marshmellows.

Please continue to pray for those who made this step... that they will continue to seek God, and fall deeper in love with Him

Sosimo & Daniel Leave for Bible College in OKI

Aug 26, 2007 , Sosimo and Daniel left for a Semester of Bible College at Calvary Chapel Bible College Extension Campus in Okinawa, Japan. (for more info on the Extension Campus click on this link: http://ccbcokinawa.blogspot.com/ ).

Daniel has already attended one semester at the school in Oki last year. And this will be Sosimos first Semester. Sosimo recently graduated from one of the High Schools in Corona, Ca.

Please pray for both of them.. as God will be working in their lives as Students of the College.. as well as through their lives as missionarys to the Island of Okinawa, Japan.

GX International Dance Team

August 23,07 the GX International Dance Team, headed for the Fiji Islands, preformed for the congregation.
It is such a blessing to have them here. They are actually having their "BOOT CAMP" for the dance team at our church for the next week and a half before they head out to Fiji and meet the rest of the team.
The Dance team consist of people from Norway, Canada, and parts of the USA. The team is all in their teens or early 20's. And they all love the Lord.
Please pray for them and the ministry as they will and are traveling around the world throughout the year.. proclaiming the Gospel Message. Also pray because some of them would love the opportunity to head out to Japan.

OLD SKOOL: American Samoa Youth Mission Trip 2000

Talk about back in the day. Man... check these pics out!!! Back in the summer of 2000, CC Living Water's Youth Group (now known as E3G) headed out to American Samoa. If you have no idea where that is... check out a map... go to the middle of the Pacific Ocean.. and it will be in that general area.

These pics bring back many memories.... !!! As you look at them.. you might see many familiar faces... maybe a lot skinner & smaller .. but they are still the same people.

When the team went there.. they came along side CC American Samoa.. and held a VBS, a Night of Champions outreach, day trips for the CC AS Youth.. and a whole lot more.

The island itself is so beautiful, and still a lot of it is untouched. The congregation was and I am sure it still is.. so hospitable.. though the team was like THOUSANDS of Miles away from home, they felt like they had family on the island. People still live in what they call villages... though they are modern in some aspects.. and there is only really ONE ROAD that runs the length of the island.

We ask that you would pray for CC American Samoa, as the church there is on a island that is filled with DEAD RELIGION!!! And Lord willing.. one day.. very soon, we might be able to take another team out there.

Yah.. we know that Jon & Lina got married like what... 2 months ago.. but they just developed some of the pictures which guest at their wedding took. (All the tables at the wedding where provided with one disposable camera for guest to take pictures... so far half of those pictures have been developed). Aaron's Leaving for Okinawa

Aaron, who has attended CCBC, will be leaving So. Cal and heading to Okinawa to help in the work at CCBC extension campus. He will be an intern coming along side Pastor Tom, and will be teaching the LIFE OF DAVID.

On the 11th of August, his family held a little gathering to see celebrate what God is doing in sending him out to Okinawa.

For the past couple months he has been attending our church, and has truly been a blessing. We will miss him for the time he is gone.. and he will be continually in our prayers.

Please keep him up in your prayers, and be looking out for him on the E3Missions blog.. as God will be doing a work this semester at the Bible College.

Citrus Jr. High August Ministry

On Aug 9th, Pastor Cisco & Jon headed to Citrus Jr. High for the monthly ministry at the Christian Club. It was such a blessing, as Pastor Cisco shared in Eph 6:10... and encouraged those who attended to be STRONG IN THE LORD.

Jon was able to lead the group in worship.. and as you can see the group played a TUG of WAR GAME.. which went totally with the message.

Please continue to pray for what God is and has been doing at Citrus Jr. High.

Harvest Crusade 2007

July 3rd-5th, 2007 Thousands of people headed to Anaheim Stadium; either because they knew that God was going to be doing something great, or they where invited to see and be apart of what God was going to do. It was the Annual Summer event which most of all the church's in Southern California look forward to; the HARVEST CRUSADE.

This years Crusade was such a blessing. Most of those who went from our church, from youth to the older people, invited people who did not know the Lord, and also where helpers in this great event, which the Lord through Pastor Greg puts on every summer at Anaheim Stadium.

This year was such a blast, as Phil Wickham, Toby Mac, POD, David Crowder Band, Crystal Lewis, & Leelan; all rocked the stadium for God's glory. It is so neat to hear the whole stadium worship God in one voice with one heart.

Pastor Greg gave great messages, which led to 9521 people come to know the Lord. Our God is so great. The three pictures below are taken during the Alter call... how great it is to see the field fill up 3 nights in a row, with people who have decided to follow JESUS.

Friday Night Harvest Crusade Witnessing Night

July 27th, E3G and some others in the fellowship went to THE CROSSINGS IN CORONA (a shopping center and Movie theater) to pass out and invite people to the Harvest Crusade which is happening in a week.

It was such a blessing, because the place was packed with Teenagers... especially since the new SIMPSON MOVIE opened on that day. The youth who went, and the others from the fellowship we very enthusiastic to share God's love and what He will be doing at Angel Stadium.

Afterwards the "Team" headed to "CHICKFILA" for a time of fellowship. It was a gret way to end such a blessed night.

Please pray for the Harvest Crusade as the Lord wants and will be doing something great.. as He pours out His love and grace on the 3 nights the Harvest Crusade is being held at ANGEL STADIUM. And pray for those that received an invite last nigh!!!

A Day in TJ

July 21st a group from church headed out to Tijuana Mexico to hang out with each other, show Ryo (who is from Okinawa Japan, Pictured far top left pic and far left in the picture) another country, and be used by God to share His love with those they met.

It was truly a blessing to go on this trip because, everything they set out to do, the Lord blessed them with doing it. They headed out to Mexico around 9:00am from Corona and arrived inside Mexico around 11:30. Once in TJ (Tijuana) they got some great authentic Mexican food, and started shopping.

One thing they desired to do while in TJ was to pass out tracks and fliers to let others know about Christ and His love. However they did not have any, but they believed in faith that the Lord would open doors for them to share God's love. Well... while walking in TJ... they came to Calvary Chapel TJ. They decided to check it out.. and make long story short... They met some people from CC TJ who asked them if they could pass out fliers for an outreach they where holding the following Saturday. This was an answer to prayer.. because they where up for the challenge.. and it was totally cool, because Evangelina stepped up to the plate, and shared Christ love with all the merchants in Spanish.

So pray for the outreach being held July 28th. This outreach is actually pretty big, one in which they are actually closing down the whole street CC TJ is on. God wants to do something great.. and the group that went out to TJ was totally blessed that they could be apart of it in some little way.

Afterwards, they headed back across the border to San Diego (It took 2 hours) , and they had dinner at Seaport Village. The day was such an adventure and a blessing.

One person, who was blessed to go to TJ was Ryo. She was excited to go to another country and see Mexico. On July 23rd she left to go back home to Okinawa. Please continue to pray for her, as she heads back to Oki, to go back to school. (Below is a picture of Ryo and her mother Akiko at LAX on the day she left.)

A New Sports Star Has Arrived

A new Sports Superstar has come to L.A. If you haven't heard David Beckham is now playing for the Galaxy! The Galaxy are apart of the MLS "Major League Soccer"!!! Everyone is hoping this will finally bring Soccer... of Football...as the rest of the world calls it.. to the American Public. And by the looks of the news Media that Beckham is drawing it looks like, bringing him might just do that.

On July 16th, Beckham made his first appearance onto the Galaxy Home field at the HOME DEPOT CENTER, for his first practice with the Galaxy. A couple people from CC Living Water as well as Ryo (who is from Okinawa and loves soccer), where able to attend this practice.

It was a blast for those who went, because they where able to watch scrimmage games, as well as Chelsey (a famous soccer team from England), practice... because they are have the "WORLD SERIES OF SOCCER" here in Los Angeles.

Just the interesting thing is... if the World gave as much attention to a true Superstar... like, lets say... Jesus... as they do with sports figures....man how much would our lives changes... and the world!!!

2007 Rhythm Unity

July 14th, CC Living Water held 2007 Rhythm Unity. It was totally a blessing. Besides seeing some great b-boi's do their thing, the Lord showed Himself faithfull as Young Men and Women came to the saving knowledge of Christ.

It was great to see the body come together and work together to see Jesus Christ proclaimed. George and Jessie both shared out of the Word.. while Mike Ochoa and His crew came out with the 1st place torphy's!!

Please pray for those who came to know the Lord and their new relationship with Him. Also pray for the next Rhythm Unity.

Cirtus Jr. High July Ministry

Once a month we have the opportunity to ministry at Citrus Jr. High in Corona for their Christian Club. It is always such a blessing to go. This time was a little more special simply because it was the first Christian Club meeting for this new school year. It was great to see the new 7th graders, who just graduated from Elementary. As well as seeing last years 7th graders who are now the big guys on campus.

Daniel and Jon led the Club in a awesome and blessed time of Worship. Then after Worship, they helped teach the Club a famous and E3G classic game "AMIEBA". Then Jon shared on "NEW BEGINGS".

Please pray for this school and its Christian Population as we know that being a youth is not easy to live for Christ. God has so much in store for this school, we believe.. and it is truly a blessing to be a part of it.

They Just Keep on Coming

We continually have people visiting our church from around the world. And July seems to be no exception. 3 girls are down: 2 of them attend OCSI (Okinawa Christian School International), and another is a graduate of OCSI and now attends the University of Hawaii.

We have been so blessed that they are here.. as they had the chance to stay at Lina and Jon's house for a bit. Ryo and Lisa (Pictured in the middle top picture:Ryo is far right, Lisa is middle) are down in California to attend a Soccer Camp that BIOLA University (Bible Institute of Los Angeles) is holding. Pray for them please. Lisa is going to be a senior this year, and as she has been down; this has been a time which she is seeking the right college for her. Pray also for Ryo as she will be a Junior at OCSI, but she is already planning and praying for God's guidance in the right College. They both love soccer, and would love to play for God and for school, when they attend College.

Judy(who is pictured in the middle picture far left) is a graduate of OCSI (class of '02) and is now attending UH. Pray for her, as she is from Taiwan and her family does not know the Lord. She came to know the Lord during her last year at OCSI, and now she loves the Lord like no other. Pray that she remain focused. She came down to Calie to just visit and take some time off before she goes back to work and school.

Saturday 7/7/07, Lina, Jon, Kailey, and Eli where able to take them around Los Angeles and see Hollywood and all its "glory" (with a few crazy people); as well as they took them to a Dodger Baseball game. They all had a great and blessed time hanging out and fellowshiping with one another. We hope that we will see them and hangout with them soon again.(whether in Oki, Calie, Hawaii or Heaven).

Sunday 7/8/07 Lina and Jon felt like parents as they dropped Ryo and Lisa off at BIOLA for soccer camp. Afterwards they took Judy to LAX where she caught her flight back to Hawaii.

Melinda Leaves us for a Time!!!?

Melinda Cano has left California to and headed to Arizona to go to school. Please keep her in your prayers.. as she has been a dear sister in the Lord to many of us at CC Living Water and especially in E3G.

If you don' t know her.. she is pictured above in the Red, along with her younger sister. She has just graduated Corona High School. She has been attending E3G for a number of years... and is going to live with her aunt as she attends school in Arizona.

She is much loved and dearly missed.. and we are all awaiting August when she is supposed to come down for a short time for her Birthday.

June Friday Night Fellowship

Every Friday Night at 7pm the Youth of Calvary Chapel Living Water meet for a night of Fun, Fellowship and the Word of God. June 29th was no exception, except they also watched a movie. Specifically Noah's Arc. This is a movie about a pro surfer who has come to know the Lord and now is doing all he can to let others know of the Love of Christ. It was truly a great night in which the Lord worked through the movie... as well as the Word shared by Jon.

This was also a special night, because our dear Sister in the Lord Melinda (who just graduated from Corona High School) was leaving the following day for Arizona, where she was going to go to school. E3G was able to pray with her one last time, until the Lord allows here to come back, and fellowship with her.. as well as take her to In-N-Out one last time.

Pray for her as this is definitely a Venture of Faith.

E3G Annual Beach Bash '07

ON the 15th of June, E3G headed out to the beach to hold their annual End of School Beach Bash. The theme was "Pressing On" taken from Phil 3. It was a awsome and blessed time as CC Creekside also joined in the festivities.
There was plenty of hot dogs, volleyball games, and God's Word to go around!!
Continue to pray for the Youth as they Press On in what God has called them, especially for the Seniors who have graduated!!

Jon & Lina Get Married

June 10th, 2007 saw Evangelina take Jonathan's hand in Marriage. It was truly a beautifull and blessed wedding. It was held in the canyon in between the San Bernadino Mountains, where God's beauty was seen everywhere. Jon and Lina where so blessed in how it came all together, they know it was only from God. After the ceremony everyone got their groove on.. even Zach and Hannah Ruiz cut the rug.. with some moves they practiced in Okinawa.

The following week, June 16th they went on their honeymoon. They spent it at Niagara Falls Canada. They had a great time as they saw God's powerfull hand in making these powerfull, and beautifull falls. They where able to head to Toranto Canada to see the Dodgers play as well.. which as a great treat for Jon.

Please continue to pray for them as they are beging their new life in which they desire God to be the center of it.

Oki Team Heads Home

June 12th saw the Oki team leave our shores to head back home. They left from LAX. It was truly a blessing to have them around. They especially helped out greatly with Jonathan and Evangelina's wedding.

Please continue to pray for them, as the Lord does a work in their lives. We hope that we will see them soon.. either that they come back and visit us in the near future, or we go over there!!

We hope they where as blessed coming to Calie and hanging out with us, as we where with them.

Oki Team Visits San Diego

The Oki team made their way down to San Diego, with a stop off at Camp Pendleton, to see Capetian Mark Davis (of the Marine Corp) get promoted to Major Mark Davis. It was special for the Oki Team, because for the past year Major Davis was stationed in Oki and attended CC Ginowan. So Major Davis as well as the team was totally blessed to be apart of something very special.

Afterwards, the team headed down to San Diego and visited Famed Balboa Park. For those of you who do not know Balboa park, it is a beautiful City Park with Museums and gardens all over. It is definitely a place to visit if you are ever in San Diego.

Afterwards they headed to Old Town San Diego to get a taste of what life was like when San Diego first started.

The day was filled with blessings and adventure.

Corona High School Christian Club Ministry

May 31st we where invited to minister at Corona High School's Christian Clubs. It was such a blessing... as E3G has always been praying to be able to minister on the campus' of the Corona Norco School district Schools... and this year the Lord has opened many doors.

Jon and Daniel along with one of the guys that came with the Oki team... Kegan, led in worship.. and a Graduate from Corona High School Class of 82' shared what God is doing in Oki ... of course we are talking about Pastor Tom Ruiz.

The students of Corona, had a blessed time as they where able to meet the Oki team as well as taste some of the "exotic" candies and snacks!! The teachers who are the sponsors of the clubs where also totally blessed, to see young men and women who love the Lord.

Oki Team Ministers at CC Whittier

May 30th the team headed down to CC Whittier... acutally Biola Univeristy where CC Whittier is holding their Wednesdy Night Services for a couple of Wednesdays. Pastor Tom was able to share God's word.. and the Oki team was able to see a beautifull Christian College Campus.. as well as fellowship with a the great body found at CC Whittier.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

A bunch of us... about 26 of us to be exact headed to the Big A to watch the "OTHER LA Team" the Angeles... Dodgers were obviously out of town!!! It was a good game.. the Angeles won.. and the Japanese got their fill of ICHIRO.. a very famous Japanese... as well as American Ball player.

The Okinawan team even made signs inorder for ICHIRO to see them. Everyone had a great time and where glad that they went.. even though it wasn't as good as a Dodger game would be... but I guess... the Angeles will do just fine.

Oki Team Ministers at CC Los Alamitos

May 27th, the team headed to CC Los Alimitos to minister and to be minstered to the body. It was a great time of worship and fellowship. The church body at CC Los Alamitos was truly blessed in getting to know the team, and hear all the great and wonderfull things our God is doing on the small island of Okinawa.

After service the team hung out with the church as they had a Picnic for the church body. They served some great food.

After Tom took the team to the world famous Huntington Beach. They visited the pier and checked out all the surf shops!!!

Continue to pray for them.

Also please keep Yuko up in your prayers (seen in the picture below) as she had to leave on this day and head back to Oki due to work stuff. She doesn't know the Lord, but He is knocking on her heart.

Oki Team heads to the Disneyland

Some of the Oki Team went to Disneyland along with Jon and Patrick. It was their first time experiencing the Happiest Place on Earth. And they where truly happy... especially when they had the chance to meet Mickey.

The Okinawan Team has Arrived in Calie

The Okinawa Team led by Tom Ruiz, has arrived.. and are having tons of fun. The first couple days they shopped, and shopped and did more shopping.. as well as they went to the First showing of PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN 3!!!

They have been such a blessing .. and please pray for them as some know the Lord and are being encouraged in their walk.. and as other who came do not know Him, but our prayer is that they would see who our God is and how great His love for them is.

CC Los Feliz Fellowship

On April 29th a few youth went along with Jonathan to Calvary Chapel Los Feliz to minister to the youth and their church. Jonathan was able to help lead worship for main service as well as Teach the High School ministery in 1 Kings 18. The youth who went with Jon (Eli, Patrick, and Alfred) definetly where such a blessing to the youth and the congregation as they where excelant examples of servants of Christ.
Above is a video of 2 young talented and gifted youth (I think they are both in 9th or 10th grade).. who after every Sunday service, spend their time continueing to simply worship they Lord. We hope you enjoy!!! The video really doesn't do justice to the musical talent that the Lord has gifted them in.

Movie Night / Facing The Giants

CC Perris Valley Youth Fellowship

March 30th, Lina and Jon where invited to lead in Worship and the Word at CC Perris Valley's Friday Night Youth Group. It was such a blessing. They even showed them a CC Living Water Classic Game "Amoeba"!!! Lina and Jon had a great time getting to be used by the Lord and see and fellowship with youth and their leaders who are in love with the Lord. Please keep CC Perris Valley and their youth in your prayer... as the Lord is doing a great and unique work. We are looking forward to doing many other great things in the near future with them!!!

Citrus Jr. High Christian Club March Fellowship

Once a month we have been privileged and blessed to lead & serve at Citrus Jr. High Schools Christian Club. This month Patrick and Jonathan where able to go out to the school. Jon led the group in worship... and Patrick did a great job in teaching about gentleness!! (something each and everyone of us needs to continue to allow the Lord to work in us)!!!
Please continue to pray for the students as well as the teachers.. as they desire to draw closer to the Lord.. and see the other students, in a very larger Jr. High, come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!!!

2007 Night of Champions "Basic Training" Matt 6:33

On March 17th, E3G headed out to Azusa Pacific University (better known as APU) to participate in an event which our Youth Group has been attending since our church started back in the early 90's!!! This event is ... if you did not know... is NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS!!! This is an evening which Christian Professional Athletes, actors and musicians... share their testimony and talents, in which the Lord has given them to thousands of Youth throughout Southern California.. to let them know who Christ is in their life.. and who He desires to be in our lives!!

Our youth group had a great time... as they played on some huge bouncers.. listened to some great music by Shachah, ShonLock, and Dave the Horn guy!! And they where totally blessed through the testimonies and lives of Melvin Adams (Former Professional Basketball player), and Derek Luke (actor in such movies as Antwone Fisher & Friday Night Lights)

God did an awesome work at Night of Champion as He always does!!! Please pray for those who came to know the Lord at this event.. that they would do exactly at Matt 6:33 encourages you and I to do!!! Truly that is something so basic.. that we all need to continually be in training for that.. so we will not forget about it!!

Citrus Jr. High Christian Club January Ministry

Since this school year has begun, it has been a blessing because we have been helping out at Citrus Jr. Highs Christian Club. They meet every Wed., and every Wed., they have local churchs come to lead their Christian Club. We are in charge of doing the last Wed. of every month.

We have been so blessed. Please keep the kids in this Christian club in your prayers. When we first began.. the room was filled. However now it has obviously gotten smaller. However.. it is not about the size of students, but the heart of the students. And these young men and woment do love the Lord. Pray for their blodness and faith to share with other students and teachers.

We at E3G want to encourage you to get involved with your Christian Club at your school. And if you don't have one.. pray about starting one. God wants and is doing a work at your school.

As many of you know... our own Daniel has left to Okinawa Japan to study God's Word at the Calvary Chapel Bible College Extension Campus in Okinawa Japan. Before he left however... a Farewell Party was held for him.

Please continue to lift up Daniel in your prayers as He is being stretched and used by our Lord.

Paul Wright at Day 7

January 7th a few of the youth went to Harvest Christian Fellowship to see, hear, and meet Paul Wright. It was a special treat for Hannah Ruiz, who is one of our youth who lives in Okinawa Japan.
Day 7 was such a blessing as Paul Wright as well as the Pastor of Day 7 shared on simpy sharing God's love to others this new year that the Lord has given us. Our heart and prayer at E3G is, that this would be your heart and desire as well. To see others come to the Saving Knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

Doulos Live at Living Water - Exclusive Last Preformance Video

This past Sunday was truly a blessing, as the congregation was able to see DOULOS preform LIVE. Doulos is a group made up of some of our young men in our fellowship, whose only purpose for the past few months has been to SERVE (Doulos=servant) the Lord through music.

As the Lord is doing great and new things in some of the bands members lives: Daniel(bass player) will be heading to Okinawa Japan to attend the Bible College, and Fikki (MC) will be heading into the Navy, they decided to play there last time in front of an audience in whose prayer and support has meant so much to each and everyone of them.

Please lift each one of them in your prayers as God is bringing new seasons into many of there lives..!! And hey.. If God could take these guys and use them.. then He definetly can use you too.

Fikki & Sonny's Farewell Party

As some of you might know, Fikki and Sonny will be leaving us on the 10th of January. Fikki will be heading back East as he is joining the Navy, and Sonny is heading Southwest to play Football for New Mexico State.

On the 6th of January our church got together to celebrate what our Lord has been doing in and through these young men of God for the past months and years. We did this through fellowship , food, Games, and of course a great Word of encouragement through God's Word shared by Pastor Pule.

It truly has been a blessing to have had these young men be apart of our fellowship. I know they have been a great in pact on our Youth, and they will truly be missed, for the timethat they are away from us. Please keep them up in your prayers as God is beging a new and great thing in both of them.

CC Living Water Annual New Year's Eve Talent Show

As usual CC Living Water Ended the Old Year.. and brought in the New Year with their Annual Talent Show. This years... was definitely filled with Talent. A lot of the Talent showed was preformed by many of those in our Youth Ministry. The night was filled with music, dancing, a surprise appearance from "Nacho Libre", a great Music Video from our Samoan Brothers in the Fellowship... and it was all done to glorify our Lord and Savior.

May this year be one of blessings for you and one in which you fall deeper in Love with Christ and His Word.

Doulos Farewell at Coffee Depot

The Video Above is a Partial Video of Doulos' Last preformance at Coffee Depot.. at least for now?!?!?!

December 28th was a night of rejoicing for what the Lord has been doing ... and a somber night.. in that He is doing something totally new now. For the past year.. a few College and Youth Guys from CC Living Water formed a Band "Doulos" (Greek for Servant). Their goal was to share Christ through Music (hip-hop). Throughout the past year.. they traveled around So- Cal sharing God through this... and one of the places they regularly did this was at Coffee Depot. Well.. the 28th was the last time they .. as a group ... would be playing there for a while... as one of thier MC's... Fiki Stone will be serving our country, as he has joined the NAVY. Also their Bass player ... Daniel is planning to head out on the mission field. So with these new changes.. one chapter in these young Men's lives is finishing.. as another chapter that the Lord has turned.. is just starting. Please pray for each individual in the band as God wants to continue to use them.

Annual E3G 2006 Christmas Party

On December 22, 2006 E3G held their Annual Christmas Party at Pastor Pule's House. This was a great and awesome time of Food, Fun and Fellowship. Everyone had plenty to eat... as it was almost an all you can eat Pizza Fest. And with the great genius minds of the Youth Leaders ... there was never a dull moment with the great and innovative games that they thought of. Of course the Word of God and Worshiping Him was the main event... as it was also Jonathan's (the Youth Pastor) last time to teach the youth for a while.. as he and his Fiancée (Lina) are taking some time off from E3G to prepare for their wedding. Afterwards E3G had a great time in the WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE...!!! And by the end of the night... everyone was exhausted but totally blessed!!!

Deeply Rooted 2005 Winter Camp Video

"WALK IN" WINTER CAMP '06

WOW THIS IS GONNA BE A BIG ONE!!! We had a great turn out of a Winter Camp this year. The Lord was so faithful for this special weekend for these kids. God worked so mightly through all the kids, counselors, and pastors. We even got snow. What a blessing it was this time around.

We had great times of worship. We gave the kids plenty of opportunity to praise their Maker all weekend long. All of us were so blessed by each worship leaders time to thank God, and God was well pleased. God tells us worshipping Him is a "sweet aroma" to Him. Sweeto! This Winter Camp was the first time God opened the door for us to hold afterglows on both Friday and Saturday. It was amazing. These are the groups we were so blessed to worship along side with (in order with pictures): Joseph Tata, CC Creekside, Royce and Daniel (from Whittier), CC Norco, Sons of Tribe (mostly Samoan Rap/R&B/Raggae group), and CC Living Water Youth Group band. It was a great time!

Then we had our Pastors teach. We learned to "Walk In" the Spirit by just believing in Jesus Christ and receiving power to serve the Lord through His Spirit. Our devotions were all based upon Galatians 5:16-25 where it talks about the works of the flesh (and how we should not fulfill it's lusts) and the gifts and works of the Spirit. Famous verses for the typical Christian, but it was so powerfully brought to life this weekend! Pastor Cisco (CCLW), Pastor Bob (CC Perris Valley), Pastor Louie (CC Norco), Pastor Pule (CCLW), and Pastor Gil (CC Bakersfield) were our main session teachers this weekend, not including small devotions and boy/girl, high school/junior high sessions. We had a great time learning more about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Fellowship was super good this weekend. We had lots of games, a fun time in "free time", and way to much food! The pictures explain themselves. We also had a great time in the fresh snow God blessed us with waking up Sunday morning. Beautiful!!

E3G Movie Night

Instead of our normal youth group on Friday, we brought out the youth kids to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe. Man we had a great time in fellowship! The leaders set up the stage in a Winter Wonderland theme, and of course with the movie experience munchies, including tons of popcorn, cookies, cokes, etc. Well after we all had some time in worship and finished watching the movie we had a time to reflect on the Narnia movie. There are many symbolic things of the character of Jesus and God. My favorite was how the Santa Clause guy gave presents and said "They are not toys! They are tools! Bear them well." Same thing with us, when God gives you gifts, in any way, bear them well and use them to accomplish His will. God bless!

An E3G Thanksgiving

We had a very thankful THANKSGIVING! We were so blessed with a great time in worship (bottom left) and also time in the Word by our youth pastor Jonathan. The food was so great, and it was amazing there was lots of left-overs! We were blessed as we went around the dinner table saying what we were thankful for. God is so awesome in the things He gives us. Our fellowship time was great too. Continue to be thankful to our Lord daily, rejoicing in the work He is continuing to do in your life!!
